His second novel, <em>The Other Joseph,<\/em> was published in 2015, and his work has appeared in <em>Oxford American, <\/em>the <em>Saturday Evening Post, Narrative Magazine, <\/em>the <em>New England Review,<\/em> and elsewhere. Horack is a former Wallace Stegner Fellow and Jones Lecturer at Stanford University, and currently directs the Creative Writing Program at Florida State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A native of Covington, Louisiana, who once shook Walker Percy\u2019s hand, Horack and his writing were a subject of <em>Twenty-First-Century Southern Writers: New Voices, New Perspectives,<\/em> published by the University Press of Mississippi.
